Laughter is the Best Medicine

Laughter increases endorphins and can absolutely put you in a better mood.

Life can be so serious sometimes. Between the ups and downs of responsibilities, all of our obligations, and the stressors we deal with daily, we can sometimes forget to find a reason to smile. When we are in the moments of stress and overwhelm, there are ways to balance the tough feelings we have and the joy we need in our lives. Sometimes, we can find humor in our situation and other times we can choose to momentarily forget about the stress and go do something that makes us smile. We can call a friend to commiserate and laugh or we can put on some nostalgic music to bring us back to some happy days. Also, spending time in nature is a great mood-booster!

Isn’t that what life should be all about?

Fun with friends, family, and loved ones... fun with ourselves.

Life is short. We don’t want to have regrets for not enjoying the time we have.

As kids, we laugh all the time. We don’t have the added pressures of adulthood that we tend to focus on. We can learn a lot from those kids.

Laughter brings us back to the moment. It can put problems into perspective and it can help us find clarity.

Laughter really is the best medicine. It can go a long way to making us feel better.
