Teach them to fish

perspectives Mar 15, 2019

Often moms run around feeling like the weight of the world is on their shoulders.

It doesn't have to be this way...

Did you know there are age appropriate chores for our little ones that cannot only help take some of the responsibility off your shoulders, but will also teach your child good habits for when they become adults.

Teaching your children about chores and healthy habits will make adult living for them easier as these habits will become second nature.

Although chores can be mundane for most of us, we can change this perspective for our children and show them that it can be fun. Try putting on some music and see how much you can get done in 15 minutes. Make this a weekly habit, and soon enough, you might find YOURSELF dancing around the living room.

Here are some age appropriate chores for each grade level

Any chore your child can do as a toddler, can be done throughout each grade level. As they get older, their habits will strengthen, and they will be self-sufficient.
