How often do we beat ourselves up with things that if one of our best friends went through, we would show them grace and support?

When we are compassionate with ourselves, we avoid negative self-criticism which improves our overall outlook on life. Self-compassion also increases our motivation to try new things because we are less afraid to fail and more inclined to understand that we are going through a learning process.

You deserve the same level of compassion that you give others.

No one is perfect.
