One Day...

It’s never too late to start now.

How much time is wasted saying "one day" or, "I’ll start tomorrow"? Unfortunately, a day turns into a week... turns into a month... turns into a year.

The absolute hardest part of starting anything is just starting. We all tend to overthink and over process the steps and the potential outcomes of starting something. Sometimes we just have to dive right in, maybe fail a few times, but keep going. Keep practicing, keep learning. The hardest part is day one. The rest just gets easier.

Whether it's a big project that you've been thinking about starting, or a dream vacation that you been putting off, you have the chance to choose to start today. The rewards of starting something give us a sense of purpose and fuels our drive to start more things.

If you have a project to start but it feels too big,  break it down. If that is still overwhelming, break it down some more. Start small. Before you know it, the project will be done. Maybe you need to write it down to get it out of your head. Then, you know exactly what to do for each step and you're not feeling that overwhelm. Slow and steady will get it done. Never starting won't.

Focus on what you can do, focus on what you want to do.

Don’t keep wishing... take action... start today... you’ll be grateful you did.
