Life Happens!

Life happens! Though our thoughts, feelings, and beliefs may not create certain situations; they do impact how we handle them and how we remember those experiences.
Here is my personal story about this:
In November of 2018, I broke my ankle in 3 places, requiring surgery with plates and pins. I know that it was nothing that I did that created that. And, fact of the matter, the recovering and healing lasted a very long time. I know my thoughts, feelings, and beliefs did not create that situation.
What was created through my thoughts, feelings, and beliefs was how I handled that situation. While I did have my moments, overall, I took it in stride. It happened. and I just had to deal with it. I could have let it wreck my whole year, or, I could have made the best of it. I didn’t allow myself to feel sorry for myself or "wo is me" for that whole experience. I was able to keep a smile on my face and be grateful the injury wasn't worse.
What about the people who are saying right now, "but there is no good in my life?" I want to challenge those beliefs. We see what we put our focus on. If we look for the bad, that is what we will see, it is out there. But if we practice focusing on the good, we will learn to recognize the good around us.
What if the situation is just so bad that we don’t see a way out? If we focus on that and all that is wrong, we are only making the situation worse. But, if we can take a step back and look at how far we have come, we can stay positive and find hope.
No matter what you may be dealing with at this moment, just remember that you have come so far, and you will get through it.
By starting to think you can get through this, feeling proud of yourself, and believing you are valuable - you will have a new perspective for creating a wonderful life.
