Kids are always watching

The most impactful way that children learn from us is by watching how we behave.
Kids see and hear everything!
It's not what we tell them to do... encourage them to do... it's not our words... it's not the rules we set for them.
It's our actions.
Our actions become their habits and tendencies later on.
For example: How do you react when things don't go your way in life? Do you freak out or do you let it roll of your shoulders? Do you blame others or do you take responsibility?
Knowing that your children are always watching and looking to you for guidance is an important reason to become self-aware. This is the first step in modeling the skills we want our children to develop.
