If You Care, It Shows

perspectives Nov 08, 2019

There is a big difference when you do something because you care, or are just going through the motions.

It applies when we take care of the people and things that matter most down to the tasks we do every day, and everything in between. When we care for our environments, businesses, community, it is reflected on the people that are impacted by our actions.

Many of our actions do have an impact on somebody else's life. Knowing we are taking the responsibility to care for someone else's well-being is important. This doesn't mean you ARE responsible for other's well-being, it just means that your actions impact other people.

When we care, it shows. When we don't care, it shows as well.

When you listen to someone you care about and genuinely show empathy and compassion, you are showing this person that you care. When you REALLY hear someone, you have the capacity to make them feel valued

When you care about your work responsibilities, not only is the business going to flourish, but the people you work with will also be impacted by your attention to the details

When you care for your environment this means that you have pride in your surroundings. You want your spaces to be cared for (you may not have as much time to clean, de-clutter, make home repairs, etc. but you know you have a standard of care to live by.)

This is true about self-care as well. When you make the time for mental, emotional, or physical improvements, you increase your self-worth. We all deserve to take care of own health & well-being.

Remember - when we care, it shows. Your life and your relationships rise to a whole new level when you care.
