I've always said I like to give advice. It is not because I like to tell people what to do. In fact, I truly believe that we all know our own truth. The reason why I like to give advice is because the right answer is in the response.
For example, if I were to say "I really think you should do that" and the person's face lights up with all the reasons why they agree, they are speaking their truth. If they had been doubting if they should do that, it was most likely fear talking.
However, if someone were to respond to that same comment with "yeah, but…", this is also the person's inner truth telling them that they should not do that thing.
It can be difficult to discern what your gut is saying and what your fears are saying. That's why when you toss a coin in the air, that voice in your gut yells a little bit louder and you realize you already know what you were hoping for.
Listening to your instincts takes practice but the more you do it, the less your fears will get in the way of you living your inner truth.
